Travel Information Experience Morocco with your motor home… > > > Click here to see the gallery of Morocco < < < Principle travel-information: We don't organize a rally, but a touring holiday trip across several passes, trough gorges, cedar forests, oasis and deserts, following a daily schedule. There will be a maximum of 10 motor homes travelling approx. 3800kms on a circuit of Morocco, all on made-up roads! We travel in convoy only when it is absolutely necessary. Everyone can drive as individuals or travel with one ore two others. We all meet in the late afternoon at the next designated campsite. We don't normally do daily, tiring sightseeing tours. We travel in accordance with the motto: "The way is the destination". If required sightseeing tours are available. Special Cities will be visited together (Fez and Marrakech). With us you are travelling un-bureaucratically and exclusively in small groups. Everyone is expected to take care of themselves and their motor home. Mutual help in case of a problem is expected. Equipment: Passports (have to be valid for 6 month after crossing the border). Green card insurance for the motor home, MA (for Morocco) has not to be crossed out, Summer and winter clothes, breakdown recovery insurance for Morocco (if possible), Toilet paper(expensive in Morocco), KW-Radio, Sterilizing fluid or tablets for your water tank. If possible, winter or M+S tires on the drive axle, and your normal motor home equipment. The vehicle should be in good condition and well serviced. The papers of the vehicle have to be in the name of the driver or his passenger. Leave any kind of weapons (pepper spray etc) at home, it is forbidden in Morocco. To bring small amounts of alcohol is ok, beer and wine is available too in Morocco. After reception of your booking form, we will send you another equipment list. Security: Stone throwing children belongs to the past for quite a while, robbery is a bigger problem in Europe than it is in Morocco, but we have developed a special security concept for this case anyway. For the connection between us, we supply a telephone chip from Maroc-Telecom including start credit (Recharging is possible with us always, chip has to be given back to us after tour), so we phone at Morocco prices, the incoming calls from a foreign country are free. For that, it is necessary to take a spare mobile phone (has to be free, not SIM locked), if you want to keep your British mobile active. You will notice that you wont have any problems in Morocco, when you follow the rules that we give you when we start the journey. > > > Click here to see the gallery of Morocco < < < Tour start: We meet on Sunday late afternoon on a campsite near Algeciras (South Spain). Here we collect the money and give you the whole papers for the journey including the Morocco map where the route is marked. Next morning at 10 am we have the info meeting in the campsite bar, then we pick up the tickets for the ferry in Algeciras. You then have some time for your last shopping in the super market. On Tuesday early in the morning we go in convoy to the ferry, in Ceuta we have a last discussion before the customs (easy, if you know how!). Then we drive to our first campsite in Martil. Every evening at 6 pm we have a driver discussion and look at the schedule for the next stage. Tour end: The official tour end is on a campsite in Agadir, from where you can lengthen your holidays if you wish, because the ticket for the return ferry is booked with a open date. If you like, it is also possible to do the way back from Agadir to Algeciras again together with us, incl. Customs and Ferry (no additional payment). Tour price: € 1550,- in cash, for a motor home, max. 6,5 mts, with 2 persons (basic price). Additional prices: € 80 per meter for extra length of your motor home.
